Humanities
About the Program
The objective of the Humanities program is to provide insight into the human condition and human values. We offer an integrative and interdisciplinary study of human aesthetic, intellectual, ethical, and spiritual expressions as found in the arts and literature of world cultures, both past and present. Our courses emphasize critical thinking, comparative analysis and effective expression. A degree in humanities is valuable for those interested in professional studies of education, business, government, librarianship, law, foreign service and non-profit community organizations.
