About the Program
The M.A. program prepares you to become an applied general practitioner with a unique educational developmental orientation to work within social, mental health and human service agencies. This plan meets the coursework requirements for Professional Counselor Licensure (LPC) of the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners and for the National Counselor Certification of the National Board for Certified Counselors.
The M.Ed. plan prepares professional school counselors. It is appropriate if you’re seeking the Arizona Department of Education’s K-12 guidance counselor certification. Contact an advisor for more information. Click here for information on the sponsoring college.
