The "Partnership Advantage" provides NAU-Yuma students with:
-
- Diversified courses of study with day, evening, weekend scheduling
-
- Shared multi-million dollar Learning Resource Center and academic facilities
-
- Cultural opportunities within an international community
-
- Beautiful, secure residential campus with a Fitness Center and student activities
Northern Arizona University in Yuma also shares an academic partnership with Imperial Valley College in California. Under the Arizona Board of Regents’ “Good Neighbor Policy,” IVC students are able to transfer and take a full academic load at NAU-Yuma without having to pay out-of-state tuition fees. This policy currently applies to students starting an academic program at NAU-Yuma from Fall 2004 through Spring 2007 and who live within a 75-mile radius. Additionally, students completing the Intersegmental General Education Transfer Curriculum (IGETC) at IVC are able to transfer those courses as a block to satisfy all of Northern Arizona University’s lower-division liberal studies requirements. |
